Just had my 1.5 dci emissions update done just been down to the Cotswolds drove between 50-60 mph and got 72.2 to the gallon

Mine was done 8 months ago, no issues like you recent 60 mile trip, trying for economy so no hard braking, no hard acceleration and keep to speed limits and no more than 60 tops. Very boring but 72.8 at stop point. Couldn't be arsed driving that way back so drove normally with a few bits up to 80. Overall figure 68 or so so I guess the return journey was done at reasonable speed and at about 62/63mpg. not bad at all.

My update was done during my last service in March and thought I'd leave it a while to see real world differences after a few thousand miles. Well my previous 14,500 odd miles averaged at 48.8mpg on the trip computer... since the update I've averaged 52.0mpg over 3,500 miles. Decent enough difference!

Hello - I’m new here - I’ve found this forum after googling to try and figure out why my Kadjar, following the software update has suffered a huge drop in Mpg. Before the update, which was done at a service (vehicle is 3 years old and on 25k), the car would easily get 65-70mpg with eco mode off. Now I’m struggling to get 50-55 in eco mode. Anyone else had a similar drop off?
