I got a recall mail from Renault Sweden. They presented a new software for reducing NOx in the exhausts from their Euro 6b diesel engines.
This is supposed be installed at the next service visit.
Have you heard about this in the UK?

I have just checked the gov website and there are no recalls for the engine 

There is a recall for this in the UK. My Kadjar was reprogrammed last week while in for a 38K mile service. When I pressed the dealership on the details they were somewhat vague.

The recall does not show on the gov/VOSA site as it is not classified as a safety recall.

Do you notice anything different regarding engine response or fuel consumption?

Too early to tell regarding fuel consumption. The dealership told me that there would be no discernable difference, although I feel that the acceleration is  more sluggish than usual.

you know i said in the last forum that my car felt different after the service but i couldn't put my finger on it.

he car was more sluggish on acceleration and the fuel consumption got worse only by a couple of MPG. looks like they are re mapping the engine but wont admit it here
