Hello guys,

First of all, I'd like to thank you all for the joint effort you've been putting in here. 

Secondly, I've recently purchased Kadjar (2017, Bose edition, 4x4 1.6 dCi) and the maps are either outdated or missing for countries near my country (Eastern Europe).
I've tried updating them, but the RLink is forcing me to pay, it says that the free maps period has expired.

Is there anyone who can point me to the updated post about the steps that I need to take in order to update old maps and add new ones? 
Is this a big risk, can I break something in my car? I presume that tampering with maps will cause me to lose warranty or perhaps that's not the case (i.e. multimedia system is not covered by warranty)?

Also, I've seen you guys mentioning Android Auto and some other stuff in here depending on the software of the multimedia system.. What are the advantages of updating the system, what's unlockable/achievable by doing so?

I'm sure you'll get good help here. But the first question will be which version of R-link 2 your car has? Software release under System info.

The software release is 2.2.19.300 (Boot 4992)
Navigation information is 9.12.80.689874
