Well, disagree with you about 3D buildings... this is also one ofthe reason to ‘hack’ navigation. Honestly, I did not see any significant lagging while using 3D buildings... it is more important to free up space of unnecessary maps...

Hi guys,

As promised, I've returned to update you with the results.
Using the files provided by Robert, I've managed to upgrade/patch iGo and then install my own map pack that I've previously compiled using the SKU tool.
Everything seems to be working alright, I've tested a few routes outside of the country (using some of the countries I've added) and no issues were observed.

What I'm curious about is the following - Since I didn't use the delete unnecessary data during the process, is it safe for me to take the R-LINK 2 fingerprint now and just mark items I consider are no longer needed? 
The reason why I'd do this is just to save some extra space.

Yes, making a file in the Sku Creator for just removing unnecessary stuff worked fine for me. Just be careful what you remove. I would say - don't remove any licenses, no matter how "unnecessary" they may seem. A pity the Sku Creator doesn't show the size of each object in the memory of the R-link. Itvwould be helpful.

Alright, I'll tread lightly - no need to mess anything up now that it's working.
On the fingerprint taken prior to upgrade/patch/new install, I've noticed some old maps that I plan to remove (i.e. I installed HERE maps and there are some old TomTom maps and similar outdated stuff).

Now I'm off to find a good electrician to upgrade my sweetie with interior led similar to the one done by some of you guys. 

 

And probably you'll never take the Kadjar to Iceland or Martinique or other French Islands in the Caribbien.... I've removed such maps.
