Do you think that's a likely scenario?? Have a bricked R Link going in for warranty check on Tuesday but am just expecting them to replace it like-for-like if required. Mine is a late April '17 so just missed out on AA version but will be amazed if Renault do me any favours!

I will be surprised if they have older generation R-Link units in stock to replace on older cars. So if it gets to replacing it, the replacement has to be running 3.3+ is what I believe.

Will be delighted if that ends up the case. I'll post the answer when I get it. Also have a corroded alloy getting assessed so they'll not be looking forward to seeing me!

What are the advantages to upgrading to 3.3?

I use Spotify all the time, and just stream it from my phone , is there a Spotify app in 3.3.?

If you upgrade to 3.x.x you get Android Auto which can only be used by an Android phone.

You can use Spotify on v 2.x.x in the same way I use amazon music on V2, just use Rlink Media function via Bluetooth or Aux

Spotify is the main (and basically the only) reason I'm using Android Auto. The Spotify app for AA is very cool, especially, after they removed the restriction for browsing when the car moves and rearranged the interface few months back. And the main thing - I think the sound is much better compared to a straight BT connection.

Hi Boyko, do you remember which option in the menu you used to disable to the start & stop function? I want to keep it disabled for the sake of my car battery life.
