Well finally a result...!!!

Ordered a 6v reversing camera from Aliexpress a month ago and it arrived last week so today was D day. I followed the excellent advice from darenh and duracel3634 and voila....it worked..

Getting the main trim separated from the boot door was a bit of a challenge but with a little effort finally managed to remove it. I located the connector and the four wires were there. So with a bit of soldering I got the wires connected and did a quick test. I was rewarded with an image on the Rlink..

I then put everything back and mounted the camera on the rear plate and adjusted the angle by looking at the screen on the Rlink through the rear window.

Next job now is get into DDT4all and try to adjust the camera lines on the display.

That boot door trim will never again be coming off in my lifetime.......

Keep meaning to do one I’ve got all the photos and text somewhere it’s just doing it.
