The Kadjar goes tomorrow... I've only had it a short time, but that's no fault of the car, which I love... We are getting a caravan, and to quote an old one, the Kadjar "won't pull granny off the pot"...  Should that situation change in the future then I would certainly look at another...

So long, and thanks for all the fish, it's been emotional! :-)

Sorry to see you go and you are still welcome to frequent the forum as an ex, sounds like we were married!
All the best with your new car which I'm sure you will tell us the comparisons with the Kadjar at some point.

I must say I got my Kadjar in feb 2018 previous to that we had a Honda CR-V 2.2 awd. Was a bit worried about going down to a 1.6 dci 4x4  but have towed the caravan on a few holidays since then. Summer holidays was 5 weeks in France covered 2600 miles. It pulled every bit as good as the Honda and a much better mpg. Sorry to see you go

Well, I picked up the 2017 2litre Kuga Titanium 150bhp FWD yesterday and have done about 150 miles in it.  As a comparo with the Kadjar, it's a Dynamique S Nav level.  First, the ride is much better over bad road surface and much quieter.  Comfort wise it's about the same, certainly not worse... Good bits, the Sync 3 system Nav wise is on a par with R-Link, but the update process is cr*p compared with R-Link, I've been trying to get the update for 2 weeks, and never been able to get beyond "Try again later".  However the voice command piece is way better.

Other good bits are the economy (currently getting about 45 mpg with the mixed driving).  Much more expensive than the Kadj, but needs must when a caravan of 1500 kg is on the cards...

Was looking at a ford before we got the Kadjar but the fords mpg was no better than the Outgoing Honda CR-V  our caravan loaded is 1450kg and the 1.6 dci 4x4 pulls like a train ... the 19 inch wheels on the kadjar are a pain though ..

Our problem was matching the caravan weight to the car, when I tested against my Kadjar, I would have been limited to a very small van
