It's a bit more complicated than that. Some of the things you mention (walk-away-lock and automatic folding mirrors) were introduced already in October 2016.

I have been following this Tyre debate and could not really comment as I was out of the country and could not remember what tyres I had, very sad, all I could remember is that I could not fit them with Snow Chains.

Anyway, I have now looked and have the dreaded 19's, according to some, and whilst having had the car for just over 2 years and only done 9200 miles, joys of having access to multiple vehicles, I can report that my ContiSportContact Tyres depth as 5mm front and 6mm back. Not knowing what the depth was at the start I don't know how well I'm doing!

In Lithuania maybe, but not in the UK Karl. They only came with cars built after May 2017.

Sorry Steve, Karl is correct. My car was built in February 2017 and has these features. I've read on other threads (old site) that they were indeed introduced from October 2016.

Mine was registered March 31 2017 but I wouldn't have a clue when it was built. I bought it a month later as a pre-reg.

this topic is now going off topic
it started as QQ v Kad then went to tires ow its R linkĀ

that's enough, now this is the end of this topic

If you want to chat about tires go to the right section that goes for the R ling as well.

Members from the old site know full well the etiquette of the forumĀ
