There are 2 files... one with lgu extension (1 GB arround) which is downgrade file and one with a few bytes which is only reminder what is in folder...

So do you extract the Zip file into the root directory of the USB stick or into a directory named R-LINK?
I also notice the file names are exactly the same as the V2 - V3 upgrade

Maps have sku extension. Files have same file name, but upgrade is 20MB larger than downgrade. Files were downloaded from links on Italian forum (on beginning).
Procedure for downgrade (location on USB stick) is same as for upgrade. When you downloaded zip is just compressed to take less space.
But I wonder if file you downloaded from https://easyconnect.renault.co.uk/software-upgrade/r-link2/postdownload/vf1rfe00554437171 for 2.2.19.300 actually can do downgrade. I can still possibility to download it...

Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)

I think before uploading the file to the download section I will wait and see if Seany70363 gives positive feedback, just in case there are any issues. I don't want a reputation for providing files that could cause problems.

I did find a reference to a downgrade at https://github.com/cedricp/ddt4all/issues/123 where someone had blacked their screen. The suggested download was at

So I managed to have a go at downgrading to 2.2.19.300 using this file today.

Worked great - R-Link detected the mm2014_upgrade.lgu file I put in R-LINK folder on USB stick and requested a system update (as it would a normal upgrade) and took less than 5mins to install.

I now have working speed curve/auto volume and can see config for this in multimedia settings!

One problem I now have after downgrading though is the voice control doesn't work - when I press the voice button on steering wheel it shows "There is no database for VR in the current system. Please check it" - this worked great on 3.3.16.960. Any ideas?

As I remember there is a solution, but cannot recall where I read about... AOne? Boyko?
