From my expirience on Android only full reset to initial settings help...
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)
Maps: Here 2022Q2

can't really do a full reset, but I am concerned that error I am getting is comming from r-link itself am not wrong, hope its from phone and they will get it fixed with next updates, tried to search on all forums no luck so far, found only a post on Russian one without answear on it

I had a kind of similar experience with latest Samsung and AA on R-LINK2 with V7... simply AA reports that can not run AA at this time, try again later. For testing purposes I have a Sony Xperia XA1. AA was same version, it runs from first connection. Also CarPlay.
Suggest you if you have a possibility to try with different device.
But it can also happen that with newer phones will be a problem... Although AA is a standard which ensures backward compatibility with older devices in Android world (here I am pointing on some phone manufactures which customise OS version) this is not clear in itself.

tried different phone sadly, same, tried disable, enable AA on r-link still same....

found the issue android auto itself I would say, had been able to install a olde version now if version is less then 5.1 won't connect as it gives an error, but tried 5-1-500643 and Google maps still same but at least Waze works, thanks if anyone finds anything let me know please

I'm using AA version 5.6.603444 works OK with Google Maps, not tried with Waze
