IMHO loom means wires. In this particular case means wires comes with tow bar kit. In practice you disconnect wires on rear left lamp and connect it into connection module. This module split cables between dose on tow bar and left rear light.

2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)
Maps: Here 2022Q2

Yes ‘loom’. Is the wires/cables out together and usually wrapped in tape

We call this the ‘wiring loom’

Indeed the original equipment OE wiring cable loom goes to each light and to the plug underneath the car
