i dont know if everyone has done the latest recall from renault, mine was done on the service.

People who have followed me over from the last site, I wrote that after the first service the car felt different, i could not say why but it was and sluggish in low gears or a delay in dropping down at islands were a concern.
well since the recall the car is much more responsive, the gearbox works as it should and i havent had one hesitation, fuel consumption is still good and the stop start works better than it ever did.

overall, the software update has made the car much better, so i recommend you all check with your dealers to see if your car needs the update.

So glad it’s not just me with this irritating problem. I noticed today that when cold, the revs went as high as 3000 in first gear at just 13mph before changing up.

Hi forum. Just joined in to learn more about this great invention. I experience the same issue, but it's changing through out my drive, sometimes I find the gear change in 1st normal, ie 1700 rpm and after a stop it will change to 2700-2800 rpm before changing to 2 nd gear, with the same input on the gas pedal...? I really cannot figure out what triggers this behavior...? Does anyone have some details on the callback, what date...? Best regards, Kenn.

It happens even in my captur. So I guess it's a Renault thing in general.

This high revving issue was seriously getting on my nerves so I took it in to Renault. I’m so glad I did as the four year warranty runs out next month and there was a problem that has been sorted without charge. I don’t know exactly what they did other than ‘reprogram the gearbox’ but there is definitely a marked improvement.

Thanks for the update. Would it be possible to get the details of what they did ?
Kind regards Kenn.
