Exactly That's why I presume, it was made in a dealer's garage and am pretty sure it's the official "ACTIS 49605" update.

I saw some V7 software in some forums.
@Kadjaf201545 in German forum there are a few guys who were able to success with Upgrade. Even after an initial blocked unit. Maybe you should go and ask there.

May I ask a quick Rlink 2 hardware question as you guys seem to be the subject matter.
My 2016 Kadjar with the 1st tranche of RLink hardware recently went into Renault for a few bits including the firmware update.
All along I have been hoping for AA or CP but knowing that USB is an issue.

When applying the firmware the dealers have bricked the unit and therefore have had to order a new one from France.
This has taken a considerable time and is apparently arriving next week.
The question that I hope someone can help me with is :
Does this unit come with the correct type of USB to enable car play or is the USB a separate unit?

If it is a separate unit is it a case of sourcing that and installing it along side the new RLink unit.

I have a funny feeling that you are going to be disappointed. My understanding is that they will replace the unit, probably running 2.2.19.300, or you'll have V.7., neither, on their own, give you Android Auto or Car Play. If your previous version was 2.2.19.300 then your only hope of AA is version 3 (unofficial) as described on this forum. OR buy a new Kadjar which will have both AA and CP. I doubt if Renault will update pre 2017 units to enable AA and CP, they'll be cutting their own throats.
