Use it like ordinary upgrade. This file will delete unneceseary maps from device and free space. This maps you will download also contains 3D buildings and need more space.
So first copy on a USB stick formated as FAT32 a iGO patch (copy RLINK map) and do upgrade as you did before.
Next use Add licencse
Then Delete Un...
And at last map update.
After that you will have a system with Here2020Q2 maps.
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)
Maps: Here 2022Q2

Hello Robert, I successfully installed Upgrade Igo patched as well as licence. But when I copy Igo maps to my USB nothing happens when I insert USB in my car. How to install maps on my R link 2? Thanks

Reboot device (press and hold pwer button for 10 sec) first

Yes. I give folder name RLINK and I transfer all files in that folder.

Redownloaded. Unfortunately same problem. The Sku-Creator reads previous fingerprints. Looks like the one my car gives after the update (deinstallation) is different?



Quite odd. Try reapplying the patch file for unlocking the map's storage. If it doesn't help, download the original firmware from easylink and then apply the patch again.
