The things that come first in my mind are the way you wake up the system (in V1/V2 is with the on/off button, in V3 is only by touching the screen) and the Sound settings menu (in V3 there are extra settings, not available in V1/V2). These I remember from playing with my colleague's Kadjar which is only 2 months younger than mine.

Ok so differences with v3 upgrade:
+
Touch screen start
Extra sound settings
Android auto is compatible
Faster, smoothier software
-
Rear camera missallignment- but possible to fix with dd4all

How big is that missallignment? Is it still ok to use? Does it have any influance on parking assistant? Or parking works as before updste?
Is there any way to play online videos like Youtube?
I know AA is blocking Youtube.

I guess you have a mk1 car which means the car play won't as 5he USB sockets don't have enough power, as a matter of curiosity, why was your uplink upgraded to V7?

Yes, i believe it is. However USB power should not be an issue. The specification of USB delivers enough power to charge a device while powered on and screen active. This is more than enough.

Thanks tomeczektoja, I didn't know what V3 brought with it, apart from Android Auto. We upgrade blind, in a way, no info is available anywhere. If you don't have something to compare with you are taking pot luck. Incidentally, I like the waking up RLink by touching the screen instead of using the on\off button.

I received the kadjar newsletter and it states the following:
"The Rlink V2 to V3 software upgrade continues to be popular and so far no issues reported providing done as per the instructions."
This implies that v2 can be upgraded to v3 but i can't find the update for this. This thread (very ong so have not read all posts) seems to discuss an unofficial way of updating to v3 but the above statement implies that there is now an official way to do it.
