Hello I am looking to go from Rlink 7 to 8
I want to cancel the speed sound volume that only on Rlink 8 it is possible as Renault can’t do that

As this forum helped me to update the R-Link, my obligation is to report my upgrade status from 2.2 to 3.3.

The car is Renault Megane IV Grandtour Bose
Date of manufacture: 03 2017
Hardware ver: 0x1753
Gen: Gen1.1
Board rev: 3

Successfully upgraded from 2.2 to 3.3. Still, I don't get screen mirroring icon in system menu, but R-Link recognizes my phone and allows to start Android Auto

You won't get the screen mirroring icon after updating to version 3 from 2. I don't either. As long as you've activated Android Auto and it's working ok you don't need it. Apple CarPlay may need it, I don't know, but that's not possible due to hardware issues.

I just wanted to update here - now I have that option in the system menu. As for Carplay, I have seen the info, that USB ports need to be changed.

• Temperaturanzeige oben rechts wird nicht angezeigt und die Einheit ist "Fahrenheit"
• iPod vom iPhone geht nicht mehr

Translation
