Hmm, must brush up my Rumanian. 



Translation as follows:

As you probably know, on some versions of R-LINK 2 you could not put a car android
After some time spent with some friends and some work done ... CAN YOU !!

I can activate Android auto on ANY version of R-Link2, regardless of the
car's manufacturing date, the r-link software version and everything
else.

Whoever is interested can send me a private message or leave a comment here
Before we meet to do the big "operation" I need the VIN of the car that
requires the operation and some information about the car like the
options on it, if it has bose, if it's intense if it's zen etc.

You can also activate various other features for who wants:
ESP & TCS on / off with display in r link and on-board clocks
Corening for projectors
Allow viewing videos on the move
R-Sound activation


Price activation android auto: 350 lei
Activation price features mentioned above: 50 lei

Thanks for that Duracel, unfortunately not thinking of travelling to Eastern Europe anytime soon. When someone here in Blighty (north of Watford Gap preferably) offers the same service, I would be interested. How much is 350 Lei in english?

Some of the things listed can be done in developer mode. You can find it in the posts in The Forum. Only Android Auto needs more knowledge, which the Italian and romanian guy posses.

Doesn't work for me either being on the South Coast, not that I'm interested!

what you need is dd4all (free to download), CAN cable (this is biggest issue) and knowledge where to enable (on German forum and specialized R-Link forum is documented aka coockbook). And guts to do. 

Si any information about cable would be nice. 
I have a friend who do simmilar things for VAG. He send you a proper cable (you pay a bail) and did remotly trough your laptop connected with cable to OBD and TeamViewer as remote access.

Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)

I read all the posts and it seems to work. Also I found testimonials of some other kadjar owners happy after upgrade.
