Four pin micro MOLEX connector fits perfectly. (One that is usually used in PC for processor fan)

Hi, could I possibly pick your brains as to how you went about the install, I have tried an eBay link cable with an input directly into the rear of the head unit. Then on developer mode have enabled reverse camera. However I cannot get an image it keeps telling me the camera is either broken or not installed. I bout the car last August and enquires about retrofitting a reverse camera, but they were absolutely adamant they were notable to fit one. Hope you can help. I’m relatively handy with a soldering iron etc

Looks like the connector has changed, if that’s the connector in the tailgate. The earlier connector was a 2x8 configuration.

It may still be possible by a bit of investigation.

Sure, what year is your Kadjar?

Can you sand me pictures of what you have done with the wiring and the camera.
The camera has to be a 6v type.

The Rlink2 appears to be working as this is the error message when it cannot see a powered up camera.

Man, this is a connector to R-link and you have wiring already there! Just connect camera to the connector on 5th door! The one which is 2×8 as darenh has already mentioned.

I wrote a manual for installation, unfortunately only in Czech: https://uloz.to/file/2OQRaO4zZ79J/navod-kamera-pdf
