Hi, I just got an original reversing camera for my Kadjar (2016). However, it is used part and does not have the wire (cable) attached to it. Does anyone know which colors go to which pin? Camera has 4 pins and there are 4 wires in the original cable: black, white, red and yellow. Please see attached picture and pins from bottom to up 1, 2, 3, 4

Additionally, does anyone know what is the connector type and model? (e.g. AMP, Deutch, Aptiv and excact type number)

Hi Darenh, I'm in v7 and I have the same problem with the camera guidelines. I tried to change in radvav 1.5, 2.5, 3, everywhere also in navigation but without success, the camera guidelines does not appear. Do you know another tricks? Br

I have intention to buy an original Renault reversing camera. My question is: does the vehicle have pre-wiring...(tail gate to dashboard) or it has to be done in additional.
My infotainment is R-LINK 2
The equipment level of the vehicle seems to be high end: panoramic roof, Bose, front camera, etc.....(1,6 DCI, 130hp, 4WD.....)
For sure, the reversing camera needs to be activated by CLIP.
The vehicle is EU version (not UK).

My assumption is to buy, mount it (just retrofit) and activation.

UPDATE: I dismantled the rear plate, where the camera should fit.....unfortunately no pre-wiring for camera. Strange.

I believe @darenh is the one to give you the best guides for such procedure. Just be aware, that there are differences in looming between different years of production (his car was 2016 if I'm not mistaken), what's in his case might not correspond to yours.

That’s a good question on NOT a U.K. variant. The only to check is to drop the tailgate cover and have a look at the connector in there.
The feeling is if it has reverse sensors then there’s a very good chance it will be cabled. As in the U.K.

If no reverse sensors fitted then it will need extra wiring.

But if you check out Kadjar Reverse Cameras if the banner is still at the top of the page, then he does kits for both, wires and not prewired. It’s all plug and play with great instructions. If you can pull a few covers off then you can fit the kit.
