My dealer said last week not to upgrade... a poor soul waiting 40 days already on new device... a lot of problems also with april 2019 bugfix for older devices...
He told me if I am satisfied with device as it (unoficial upgrade and map unlock) let left it right now alone... they will inform me when procedure will be safe to apply.

Spoke to dealer today. New unit is due in next week so car is booked in after Easter. Also said Renault aren't going to cover the alloy repair. Not happy.

Have you posted a picture of the corrosion somewhere, if not, can you so we can all see?

Don't know how well these photos show it.

How many wheels are affected and how much mileage have you got on the car?
Have you tried an alloy specialist to see if it can be repaired?
I'm sure there was someone on this Forum that lacquers their rims every year.

Just one...front passenger. The smooth finish now feels rough when u run your finger over it. 2 independent places have confirmed it as corrosion but could be refurbed. First noticed after about 25000 miles. Thought they'd have fixed it out of goodwill, at least, seeing as I've now effectively been without an Rlink for 3 months.
