This is so stupid, when I originally did my update from 2.x.x.803 to 2.x.x.300 it was from easyconnect and not the store.

I guess you have actually checked on your Rlink that the version is still 2.x.x.803 rather the store telling you that you need an update? I ask this because in the past I have had a similar issue when updating maps when I actually had the up to date map already installed in the car.

When you try to update from the Rlink store, are you using a stick that you have already plugged into the car or an empty stick? If you have only used a stick that has been plugged into the car, try an empty stick.

What do you mean by an empty stick Don't you have to connected to the car 1st and then the rlink store and can you update from 2.2.17.803 to 3.3.16 or do you first have to update to 2.2.17.300 first

First you need to be sure which version you have. On R-Link screen in car: Menu> System> Swipe left then System info, this will tell the version installed in your car. If version is before 2.2.19.300 Renault should give you update.
Go to easyconnect and enter your VIN No which will start with VF1..... easy connect will then offer (hopefully) 2.2.19.300. Download zip file then extract R-Link folder and put on to empty stick. Insert stick into car and follow instructions. Because of the age of your car Renault will not offer any later update online. If you wish further updates you will have to go to a Renault agent. V3 is only available as unofficial update on car of that age (same as mine)

I can only suggest methods that I know to work, I doubt if many on here would be able to decipher that log. If your R-Link is still functioning maybe better to leave it because if you cannot get the official update there is no point trying for the unofficial versions and Renault will charge quite a lot to repair it unless under warranty. Sorry I cannot be of more help.
