I can only make the whole Topic sticky and not the just the post, for what reason are you making the suggestion?

Just ordered an ELM327 for dd4all software to make a few minor mods to my renault Kadjar (Mainly disable stop start function). Looked at a few tutorials on youtube but they seem to mainly feature the Megane but presumably the procedure will be the same.

One issue that I can see is what version of the Kadjar do I choose in the software? From what I can see there seems to be three versions of the Kadjar on the drop down box so does anyone know how to find the correct Kadjar version the I have?

Also how do I deactivate the flower on the dashboard if I want to put the Temp readout there using dd4all? (Edit: Found this bit; Menu - Vehicle - (2nd page) User Settings - (scroll down to the end) Driving style indicator - off.

BTW: A thread on dd4all would be great for us newbies..!!!

Use the "scan for ECU" option - not sure how exactly it was named, but its on the left under the list of available ECU files. This way you will be working with what is automatically detected rather than what you *believe* you have as hardware.
